Eli Clarke joined the Board of the Art Song Foundation of Canada in 2015.
As Development Manager at Toronto Summer Music, Eli Clarke supports the Artistic Director, Executive Director, and Board of Directors to present world-renowned performing artists in Toronto and provide an exceptional educational experience to emerging artists. He is responsible for maintaining and developing Toronto Summer Music’s individual giving, major gifts, and corporate sponsorship.
Eli was instrumental in Toronto Summer Music receiving the Mo Davies Small Organization for Excellence in Fundraising Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the first arts organization to do so.
Previously Eli provided arts administration to Choirs Ontario and the Canadian Music Centre.
Additionally, Eli is a sought-after tuba player who has performed across North America. Eli is Principal Tuba of the Stratford Symphony Orchestra and a founding member of Band Bajha Brass, North America’s first Bollywood Brass Band.
Eli holds a Master of Music in Performance degree from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Music Honours Performance degree from the University of Western Ontario.
Eli is an active volunteer who also sits on the Board of Directors of Choirs Ontario.
